You might be thinking ‘what the bloody hell is a buddleja bush’. A funny name isn’t it? It’s one of those bushes that you often see on the railway line or in the grounds of abandoned buildings that the butterflies goes wild for! Often pink or purple, cone shaped flower heads that are actually made up of loads of tiny flowers.

In their wild situations they often look straggly and unkempt due to their vigorous growth. But grown in your garden and cared for properly they are beautiful plants that will have the insect life flocking to your garden.
