5 top tips to save your plants from slugs

That don't involve harmful chemicals or slugicide

I could feel their slimy bodies slithering across my hand as I spoke live to camera.
Despite having hunted around the garden and collected about 10 slugs and snails in a bucket full of leaves, just before we were about to go live the little blighters had disappeared. Cue me and the cameraman hunting around frantically for the little blighters as the producers counting down in our ears!

Finally I found a slug and a snail and popped them on my hand just as the segment started. They even came out to play and happily roamed around my hand for the whole time I was chatting to Jeremy Kyle (yes he of family DNA test fame) and his co-host. You can watch the clip here.
