Pruning roses is the one thing that seems to strike the fear into the hearts of those new to gardening. And yet they are one of the most popular plants to grow in the UK.
My first piece of advice is to not panic. In my experience plants WANT to regrow and bloom. In fact regular pruning not only keeps the size of the plant in check, but actually stimulates the plant to grow strong healthy stems, leaves and flowers.
