There’s this phrase that people in to gardening tend to bandy around at this time of year.

Putting the garden to bed for winter.

Honestly it boils my blood.

It somehow implies that your garden must be super tidy all through winter and also that you won’t be going out there at all from October to March.

Seriously? You’ve got a whole other part of your house available to you that lowers your stress levels and helps you quiet your mind amongst the chaos and you’re not going to use it for 6 whole months.

No.

I get it, it’s cold and somewhat rainy at times. But when you know exactly what you’re doing out there (because when you upgrade to paid i’m going to send you weekly activities) and when you can pop out in between rain showers togged up in allllll your winter gear, and do the 5 or 20 minute activity that will helps your mind feel less like an exhausted donkey, its so fucking worth it.

Plus, by getting out in your garden in the winter you get to see your garden like you’ve never seen it before, discover beautiful new nooks and crannies and you spread the load of gardening tasks fully throughout the year meaning you have less to do in Spring.

So you don’t waste precious time thinking ‘What on earth should I be doing out there though?’ I’ve put together a list of mindful gardening activities that hit your inbox each week all year round. So you can just pick one and get straight out there, do it and feel better immediately.

Join us for a year by clicking below and choosing the annual option. Committing to a year of giving yourself headspace and lowering your stress levels in your garden awaits.
