Women taking time for them to quiet their minds and rediscover themselves in their gardens. Why does it matter?
1. Because we're fucking exhausted and teetering on the precipice of a burnout epidemic
93% of women have felt under extreme pressure of stress in the last year. It's there in black and white in the Mental health UK burnout report. But we are not machines (despite what those in power would have you believe) and eventually under that much pressure we break.
And take it from someone who's been there it’s messy and complicated when the one person everyone relies on can't do all the things she usually does. I don't want you to end up there too, so here's my invitation to try something different, because hell, what you're currently doing clearly ain't working.
Start with just 5 minutes a day in your garden and feel your stress levels drop and enjoy that elusive headspace that you’re craving.
2. Because no one else is giving us permission
You only need to look at our mothers to see that no one is coming to rescue us.
As someone who's Mum worked full time and did all the household stuff, sorted the childcare arrangements, did all the food shops and barely had any time for herself outside of that I know that I could very easily fall into the same pattern. And I see so may of my friends doing exactly that.
But I don't want to end each day spent and frustrated at the 'having it all' lie that we’ve been sold.
I want to end the day knowing that I created time and space for me so that I feel joyful, even energised at the end of the day. Proud of myself for prioritising me when our society believes I belong at the bottom of the pile. And I want the same for you too.
3. Because its something that's available right outside your back door
No need to stick to a gym timetable or shlep halfway across town to access those coveted wellbeing benefits. This is something you can tap into simply by stepping outside your back door and connecting with your plants and yourself for just 5 minutes a day.
You have a green space that is severely underutilised right now because you feel like you don't know what you're doing out there. I'm gonna help you change that. So come on give it a try and watch your sleep improve, your stress levels lower, your daily moments of joy increase and your mind quiet. Because you have the power to change the future for the next generation of women.
In the Great Garden Rebellion I’m going to take you through the first steps of getting started in your garden, so you know what to buy at the garden centre and where to plant it, where not to plant, what to stop wasting your money on and how to do it in the small pockets of time that i’m gonna help you to carve out for yourself.
I’ve never done this outside my 1 to 1 work which starts at £795 and you can get in now for just £33, BUT only for the next 3 hours. The price is going up at 9am today.
